Suggested Setup Process (Using a File Guide):

1. Clamp your blade securely in a file guide.
2. Insert the file guide into the slot in the Black Dragon Bevel Grinding Jig and adjust the gate plates to fit the width of your file guide.
3. Ensure the cutting edge protrudes 3-5mm above the jig's surface, avoiding contact with the Bevel Grinding Jig.
4. Bolt the blade to the Bevel Grinding Jig and support the spine with the included bolts.
5. Adjust the grinding angle by tilting the faceplate and lock it in place.
6. Begin grinding with a low angle to break the corner, gradually increasing the angle.
7. After grinding one side, flip the blade in the Bevel Grinding Jig without adjusting the file guide position.
8. Continue grinding, adjusting the angle as needed.

Suggested Setup Process (No File Guide):

1. Bolt the blade to the Bevel Grinding Jig and support the spine with the included bolts.
2. Ensure the cutting edge protrudes 3-5mm above the jig's surface, avoiding contact with the Bevel Grinding Jig.
3. Adjust the grinding angle by tilting the faceplate and lock it in place.
4. Begin grinding with a low angle to break the corner, gradually increasing the angle.
5. After grinding one side, flip the blade in the Bevel Grinding Jig ensuring a mirrored bolt down pattern is used.
6. Continue grinding, adjusting the angle as needed.
